Northeast Slopes
Northeast Slopes has been running since 1936, when a rope tow went up on Mt. Tug, and it has kept the same quiet confidence ever since. Its community rescued it in 1962 and again in 1986, proving that a mountain looks its best when the people who love it look after it. Today it is one of the country’s oldest continuously operating rope tow ski areas, and it remains affordable, family-friendly, and entirely unpretentious.
